Turning interest into creation.
Acquisition, segmentation, and activation for a US creator ecosystem.
Conceptual illustration, not a product screenshot or internal company interface.
Context
As Assistant Growth Manager, UGC Growth at Pocket FM, I focus on US creator acquisition, activation, growth experimentation, and marketplace dynamics.
Problem
Acquiring a creator is one step in a longer journey. Segmentation, onboarding, and activation need to connect so that early interest can turn into participation.
Constraints
Creator journeys involve product, editorial, analytics, operations, and business teams. Internal funnel data, campaign results, and targeting details are not disclosed.
My role
I build and execute acquisition programs, segmentation initiatives, campaigns, and conversion experiments, working across teams to move initiatives into execution.
Approach
An explanatory framing of the problem, rather than a verbatim internal playbook.
- 01
Define the creator segment and the intended activation behavior.
- 02
Separate acquisition volume from activation quality.
- 03
Identify friction across onboarding and conversion.
- 04
Prioritize experiments with a clear measurement plan.
Execution
My work spans acquisition programs, audience segmentation, campaign execution, and conversion experimentation, with cross-functional coordination across product, editorial, analytics, operations, and business.
Conceptual execution loop. No internal process or performance data shown.
Outcome
Ongoing work in US creator acquisition and activation. No unverified funnel uplift or acquisition cost is attributed to these initiatives.
What I learned
Growth is easier to reason about when the funnel is broken into specific behaviors. The right next experiment depends on which behavior is constrained.
